Pamela is a 14 years old girl. She lives with her dad and sister. Her father cannot support the family since he is crippled. She also suffers from paralysis on the left side of her face. One of her teachers describes her as being a sweet and hard working girl despite her disability.  She goes to school at Groupe Scolaire Nyamata Catholique

Benyse is a 16 years old girl from Nyagatare district. She is an orphan who lives with her three siblings. She is a football, volleyball and rugby player and enjoys reading and gospel singing in her spare time. Her dream is to get an education and help other orphans.

Hope is a 16 years old girl from living in a household of five people. She is part of several clubs at her school. She also enjoys reading novels, studying, listening to gospel music and playing basketball. One of her teachers describes her as bright, energetic and interested in extracurricular activities. Her dream is to become a gynecologist so she can help women who have no access to good medical facilities.

Linda is student at G.S. Nyamata Catholique. She lives with her father and her two siblings. She lost her mother when she was 7 years old and her father is crippled so she is in charge of everything in the house.

Win is a student at G.S. Rugarama in S2 B. She has 10 siblings and lives with both of her parents.

Josephine is a student at Rugarama Secondary School. She has 5 siblings, and one of them is her tween sister, and lives with both of her parents. She would like to attend a government school with more qualified teachers. She wants to become a lawyer and help her parents who are sick and old.
